Who are we?
We are Heiwegen Consultancy, HR supplier to the automotive sector. For 25 years we have been working solely and exclusively in the world of automotive with 10 Associate Partners in the Netherlands and 4 in Belgium. Each consultant is specialised in a specific segment in automotive.
Why this page?
Within the automotive industry, we are active in the recruitment and selection of candidates for engineering positions in Quality, Manufacturing, Testing, R&D, Advanced Development, Controls, Systems, Team Lead Mechanical & Electrical, Project Management, Project Engineering, Operational Excellence, and also in commercial and management positions. We carry out these assignments on behalf of our clients.
Type of contract
Heiwegen Consultancy acts as the intermediary between candidates and clients. As a rule, a candidate will be offered a permanent contract by the client and will be put on their payroll. Secondment is also possible via our agency.
Candidates who are currently seconded for projects via an Engineering Agency can register in our candidate portfolio. We get the opportunity to find a permanent job while the candidate is working on a project via secondment.
We are actively seeking interesting positions for our candidates, with whom we have built up a long-term relationship in recent years. We are in contact every day with candidates who have recently told us that they are open to a career change. Heiwegen Consultancy is a member of various platforms including Automotive NL and RAI Industrie. We are continually acquiring information about trends in the automotive industry, innovative product and system developments that are on the way and interesting vacancies identified behind the scenes – but not yet publicly advertised.
On behalf of our clients, we are able to share this knowledge confidentially with candidates.
We operate in full compliance with GDPR guidelines which means we only manage information from candidates that have authorised Heiwegen Consultancy to do this.
We frequently reach out to our candidates and to job holders we have previously placed to ascertain whether we can retain the contact details they supplied to us. As well as the standard name and address details, each candidate’s dossier is tailored based on an intake report that we create from a personal meeting with candidates, face-to-face or via a video call.
Proactive marketing approach
Based on the candidate’s personal profile and their ideal job role, we approach our “preferred clients”. These are interested clients who are our permanent clients. We have also produced a company profile for these permanent clients from the automotive industry. That covers not just hard facts but also company aspects like culture, history, strategy, expansion, job roles and (future) positions. We have put these together so we can create an ideal match between our candidate and his or her future employer based on profile, required criteria and also the person and the culture.
Who is it designed for
Heiwegen Consultancy’s database is designed for candidates who want to register and keep themselves informed about interesting vacancies.
You register on our website, completing your profile, wants and expectations. Shortly after that you will be contacted by one of our consultants to become acquainted, face-to-face or online. Your candidacy is then dealt with strictly in accordance with a timetable defined by you.
Advantages for the candidate
You will be kept informed by e-mail about vacancies that we are authorised to recruit for, both the published vacancies and the anonymous ones. Dependent on the nature of the vacancy, you may have to sign a non-disclosure agreement. In addition, you will receive our Automotive Industry newsletter and possible invitations to seminars and events to which Heiwegen Consultancy, as a member of Automotive NL and RAI Industrie, is allowed to invite guests.
