Rob van der Hoort

After getting his BA in Business Economics, Rob (1959) started work in office administration. After that he gained international experience at Holland Signaal and Yamaha Motor Europe. He was Commercial Director at Sparta Rijwielen in Apeldoorn where, among other things, he was responsible for the introduction of the electric bicycle. He wanted to get involved in the dealership business and became a manager at Nefkens Utrecht and in Kroymans Retail Group.

After a temporary assignment at the Milgro recycling company, he stayed on there for a number of years as General Manager before setting up independently as an interim manager and consultant in 2011.

After a temporary assignment as Regional Manager at Care Autoschade, he decided to join Heiwegen Consultancy as a Senior Consultant in September 2017. His expertise lies in the repair market and interim management and secondment.

Rob lives with Ilone in Hazerswoude-Rijndijk. He is a dedicated walker and cyclist and likes to travel in his spare time.
