Manager Process Engineering (6 FTE) Koni Shock Absorbers

To lead the control and continuous improvement of processes and means of production, so that products can be produced in the most efficient way and thus the competitive advantage is guaranteed.  You will report directly to the Plant Manager.

You will be responsible for...

  • optimal course and continuous improvement of production processes and resources in order to produce parts and end products as efficiently as possible;
  • (partly) for the preparation and realization of the strategic long-term policy of the company as well as cost and investment budgets;
  • actively managing and guiding change processes within your own department/organisation;
  • recording work processes and, where possible, standardising them within the frameworks as established by plant management;
  • leading six Process Engineers, actively supervising projects related to departmental activities such as purchasing or designing new production resources, production layout changes;
  • (delegate) provide support to the R&D department to achieve a feasible and economical and responsible design;
  • (delegate) solving production and logistical problems; applications for subsidies, including WBSO.

Further, task are:

  • carrying out departmental inspections with regard to applicable internal guidelines and procedures and, if necessary, taking active corrective action;
  • organizing and leading the (daily) work consultation with the employees with the aim of coordination, consultation, problem solving, etc.;
  • implement the company's personnel policy and ensure the training, education and qualification of the department's personnel;
  • periodically report to managers and other stakeholders/stakeholders on result formation, deviations and causes of deviation;  
  • monitoring the quality of the work carried out; the efficient and efficient use of available people, materials and resources;
  • drawing up, controlling and monitoring the departmental and investment budget;
  • achieving set GDP targets and determining corrective measures where necessary;
  • compliance with company rules, occupational health and safety regulations.

As You will be responsible for you must have...

  • a bachelor work and thinking level;
  • knowledge about current, innovative production techniques, processes and resources for making and machining parts and shock absorbers;
  • experienced in applying production control systems; various methodologies used in the company, including Value Based Product Development, Lean, etc.
  • leading a group of Process Engineers;
  • mechanical engineering (design, production, statistics, ergonomics, safety (CE) and environmental aspects), measurement technology, PLC technology, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical engineering;
  • budgeting and financial processes;
  • project-based work.
